Flint Bishop has been recognised as the UK’s best-in-class commercial debt recovery firm after winning ‘Law Firm of the Year’ at the Credit Awards 2020.
This is the second time in recent years that the firm has been presented with this award, having previously won it in 2018.
The flagship awards ceremony, which took place on 05 November, recognises and rewards innovation, best practice and the outstanding achievements of firms across the entire UK credit and finance industry.
To be crowned winners of debt recovery ‘Law Firm of the Year’, Flint Bishop successfully demonstrated exemplary performance in both its achievement of high performance and cash recovered for its clients, as well as in conduct standards through an ethical approach.
The Midlands-based law firm impressed judges with its bespoke approach to commercial debt recovery for its major national client base, delivering strategies that increased recoveries while also reducing costs and maximising collections without the need for litigation wherever possible.

Winning this accolade caps off a stellar year for the firm, following ‘Top Tier’ rankings in The Legal 500 UK 2021, for both debt recovery and commercial litigation, as well as being awarded as the ‘B2B Supplier of the Year’ for debt recovery at the CICM British Credit Awards 2020.
