Flint Bishop appoints Head of Recoveries for new South Wales office

Following our recent announcement regarding the acquisition of Rebel Energy Supply’s Collections and Recoveries team, we are delighted to welcome Steven Bengough as Head of Recoveries within our growing Debt Services division.

Steven brings with him over 20 years of experience in collections, customer operations, and financial services. Most recently, he served as Head of Collections at Rebel Energy, where he led a team of 40 specialists and played a key role in establishing and implementing their collections strategy. His focus on improving performance while maintaining strong customer support, particularly for vulnerable individuals, has been a hallmark of his approach.

Throughout his career, Steven has worked across both in-house and outsourced debt recovery environments. He has successfully delivered large-scale transformation programmes, consistently driving strong operational performance and fostering high-performing teams.

Steven’s expertise spans regulatory compliance, customer vulnerability, and the design of scalable, effective collections strategies. He is well-known for his collaborative leadership style and his ability to unite teams around a clear and ambitious vision.

In his new role, Steven will lead the day-to-day operations of our Recoveries function based in Swansea. He will work closely with our leadership team to strengthen our capabilities, enhance our processes, and expand the reach of our Debt Services offering.

Steven’s appointment represents a key milestone in the continued expansion of our national presence, and we are excited to have him on board as we move into this next chapter.
