Natalie is a Senior Associate and Debt Recovery Manager at Flint Bishop.
Natalie handles her own caseload of contentious matters for large commercial clients including a global publishing giant, multi-national retail franchise company and a national heritage preservation charity for the recovery of debts, salary overpayments and contractual disputes. Natalie also prepares responses to debtor correspondence and publishing for pre-legal settlement of cases. She also drafts Particulars of Claim replies to Defence, responses to applications to set aside Judgment and is responsible for gathering documentation to issue legal proceedings.
Natalie supervises multiple teams within the Debt Recovery department handling matters for clients including a large global security firm, a number of ‘Big Six’ business energy providers and a national stationery provider.
Natalie is responsible for the initial set-up of new client projects and outlining the workflows that are to be followed by the dedicated teams, and building the platform for this on our case management system. Natalie is the day-to-day contact for our clients and provides management information on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis, dependent on clients’ needs.
She has also taken part in client audits of the order-to-cash process and compiling reports on recommendations of how improvements could be made with a view to reducing levels of bad debt within a company.
Since 2020, Natalie’s has been recognised by The Legal 500 UK as a ‘Rising Star’ for passion and dedication to her work and the team within debt recovery. She qualified as a Legal Executive in July 2022 and is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management.
